Report from Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) of the Meeting of Conditions of the Revalidation of BA Sport Coaching & Development

Brief description of the paper 

This paper contains a report of SRUC’s responses to conditions relating to the revalidation of the BA Sports Coaching and Development. The revalidation meeting was held in February 2015. The revalidation report was sent to the University in May and revalidation was approved by the Academic Standards Committee at its May meeting (ASC/2014/72.2).

The programme team’s report (copy attached) on its responses to the revalidation conditions and recommendations was considered in June 2015 by SRUC’s Academic Board. The Board was content that the conditions of validation had been adequately addressed by the team and their responses to the advisory recommendations were considered to be appropriate.

Action Requested 

The Committee is requested to note the conditions relating to the above degree have been met and that responses to the advisory recommendations were appropriate.
