Brief description of the paper

The attached papers relate to

1. A proposed MSc Visualisation to be offered by the Glasgow School of Art (GSA). GSA offers programmes that are validated by the University. The proposed programme would, if approved, become awards of the University.

The Statement of Intent for the proposed programme was approved by the Committee at its meeting of 5 October, 2012 [Item ASC/2012/10] subject to two conditions related to the validation meeting held at GSA in February, 2013. Both conditions were met.

The proposed programme offers three pathways, one of which, the MSc in Medical Visualisation and Human Anatomy, has already been approved by the University and has been offered as a joint programme of GSA and the University since 2011-2012. The remaining two pathways would be offered solely by GSA.

2. The re-validation of the GSA programme BA (Hons) Design.
