Brief description of the paper

At its meeting in October 2017 Academic Standards Committee (ASC) agreed to give in-principle approval for a major programme amendment to the MSc Visualisation programme for implementation in session 2019-20. At its meeting in May 2018, ASC noted that the Programme Team had met all the conditions set out at the GSA Undergraduate and Postgraduate Committee Programme Approval meeting and therefore agreed to approve the proposed major programme amendment to the MSc Visualisation programme - to take effect from session 2019-20.

One recommendation from the GSA Programme Approval Report, however, remained outstanding, as follows:

Recommendation 3: ‘It was requested that a review of the assessment timetable be undertaken to measure the effects of the sequence and timing on the student learning experience’.

The attached paper provides a final update on this recommendation. All other recommendations and actions are now considered to be complete, however these are included in the paper for information.
