The paper is a note of a meeting that took place between a sub-group of ASC and representatives from the Adam Smith Business School to consider the School’s practices in relation to the supervision and marking of PGT dissertations.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to note the conclusions reached by the sub-group and confirm approval for the continued use of current supervision arrangements and marking protocol and moderation system for the foreseeable future, subject to the outcome of annual review of the moderation process.

ASC is asked to endorse the sub-group’s proposed requirements for ASBS to report to ASC in January 2020.
