At its meeting in March 2017, ASC received the six-month update report from the review of English Language and Linguistics. Good progress had been made on the Recommendations and it was agreed that the only further update required was in relation to Recommendation 5 from the VLE Development Board. The response received indicated that limitations of providing feedback within Moodle was part of a broader set of issues currently under consideration by the Board and by various other groups in the University. It was agreed that a further update should be requested in six months and this is now attached.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the response and the progress made.
