Brief description of the paper 

At its meeting on 15 April 2016, the Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of the Academic Development Unit. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action.

As the Learning & Teaching Centre was being re-organised at the time of submission of its responses, an update on all the recommendations had been sought in twelve months’ time, in order that the recommendations could be embedded within the new structure of the Learning Enhancement & Academic Development Service.

This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations.

Academic Standards Committee is asked consider the adequacy of the responses and the progress made.
