The attached is the Report from the meeting of the Joint Liaison Committee of the University of Glasgow and The Glasgow School of Art held on 1 February 2017.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to approve:

• the Membership and Remit of the Joint Liaison Committee for 2016-17 (Appendix 1);
• New GSA staff members as Associate University Lecturers* (Appendix 2);

Academic Standards Committee is asked to note the remainder of the Report.

*ASC is asked to note that the designation ‘Associate University Lecturer’ replaces the previously used title ‘Associate University Teacher’ for staff at validated institutions. This is in line with ASC minute ASC/2016/37.1.
