Brief description of the paper 

The attached is a proposal from the Glasgow School of Art (GSA) Undergraduate and Postgraduate Committee (UPC) Programme Approval meeting held in September 2016.

GSA Academic Council has approved the meeting’s recommendation that a new pathway (Performance) be added to the MLitt Fine Art Practice programme at GSA. The following pathways are currently offered within this programme:

  • Photography and the Moving Image
  • Painting
  • Drawing
  • Print Media
  • Sculpture
Action Requested 

ASC is asked to approve the addition of a new pathway (Performance) to the MLitt Fine Art Practice programme at GSA commencing in September 2017.

GSA.

There are no resource implications for the University.

Timescale for Implementation 

Subject to ASC approval, the new pathway will be introduced in September 2017.
