Brief description of the paper

The attached is a report from the Glasgow School of Art (GSA) seeking Academic Standards Committee approval for the MSc in Environmental Architecture. The proposal for the introduction of this programme was approved, in principle, by Academic Standards Committee in November 2015. GSA has confirmed that all conditions set by its Undergraduate and Postgraduate Committee Programme Approval group in February 2016 (see report) have now been satisfied and GSA Academic Council has approved the programme. The programme will be delivered within the Mackintosh Environmental Architecture Research Unit (MEARU) in the Mackintosh School of Architecture (MSA). It will draw on existing research expertise and provide complementary, but distinct, content to that offered by existing GSA Architecture provision.
