Update on Progress on the Recommendations Arising from the Academic Review of Glasgow International College (GIC) held on 26 March 2015

Brief description of the paper 

The Academic Standards Committee received the Report of the Academic Review of Glasgow International College in October 2015. The recommendations contained within the Report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action and a year was given to implement the recommendations. This Report provides a six-month update which details the responses and the progress made in implementing the recommendations so far. The Convener has reviewed the very considered and detailed responses given by both GIC and appropriate UoG staff and recommends to ASC that progress is being made and no further action is required at this stage.

Action Requested 

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the responses and the progress made and to note that there are six months left to implement full responses to the recommendations.
