Under Summer Powers, the Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of Geographical & Earth Sciences. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action. This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations. The Convener has reviewed the very considered and detailed responses given by the School and recommends to ASC that no further action is required. In relation to the response to Recommendation 6, the Convener highlights this as an example of good practice that have potential for wider dissemination. A response from Academic Regulations Sub-Committee is required in relation to Recommendation 9.
