Periodic Subject Review: Updated Responses to Recommendations Arising from the Review of Politics held on 4 and 5 March 2013

Brief description of the paper 

At its meeting on 14 February 2015, Academic Standards Committee received the responses to the recommendations arising from the Review of Politics. ASC requested updates on the following responses:

  • Recommendation 3 – further clarification of the Head of Subject’s statement that ‘…our space issues remain and if anything have become more problematic.’
  • Recommendation 9 – advances made in reducing tutorial sizes
  • Recommendation 10 – the performance of IT systems in relation to online marking for session 2014-15.
  • Recommendations 14 and 15 – progress on GTA feedback and resources.
Action Requested 

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the updated responses and the progress made.
