Brief description of the paper 

At its meeting on 23 May 2014, the Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of Economic and Social History. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action. This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations.

The Convener considers that the Panel’s recommendations have been given full and appropriate consideration. In relation to Recommendation 3, he would like confirmation that the Subject has a process in place for verifying that GTAs have attended the statutory training.
