Brief description of the paper 

At its meeting on 23 May 2014, Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of the School of Computing Science. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action. This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations.

The Convener considers that the Panel’s recommendations have been given reflective and thorough consideration and commends the School, in particular, the Head of School, for the actions undertaken following the Review.

Action Requested 

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the responses and the progress made. Recommendation 5 is highlighted as still ongoing and ASC may wish for an update in the future.
