Brief description of the paper 

The attached paper is a further update on the Digital Design Studio’s Periodic Review Recommendations from session 2012/13 as requested by Academic Standards Committee at its meeting on 23 May 2014. The Committee had requested additional information in relation to Recommendations 2 and 3 as summarised below.

The Review Panel had recommended that the Digital Design Studio give consideration as to how students could be better supported to link with colleagues on other postgraduate programmes, and that discussions to this effect take place with the Graduate School (Recommendation 2).

In addition, the Review Panel had recommended that the Digital Design Studio explore means of developing links with the graduate community in Glasgow and throughout Scotland (Recommendation 3).

Action Requested 

Academic Standards Committee is asked to note the actions taken in relation to Recommendations 2 and 3.
