At its meeting on 15 April 2014, the Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of Nursing and Health Care. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action. This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations.

The Convener considers that the Panel’s recommendations have been mainly, given full and appropriate consideration. However, with regard to recommendation 8, the Convenor would like to bring to the attention of ASC his concerns that this may need to be monitored.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the responses and the progress made.
