Brief description of the paper 

At its meeting on 14 February 2014, the Academic Standards Committee received the Report of Periodic Subject Review of the Centre for Open Studies. The recommendations contained within the report were approved for onward transmission to those identified for action. This report details the responses and the progress made to date in implementing the recommendations.

The Convener considers that the Panel’s recommendations have been given full and appropriate consideration. However, Recommendation 4 has still to be resolved and it is proposed that a further update is requested in relation to Recommendations 5, 6, 7 and 15.

Action Requested 

Academic Standards Committee is asked to consider the adequacy of the responses and the progress made.
