The attached paper outlines a proposal to extend the validation of the MA (Hons), Graduate Diploma and MLitt History of Art and Art-World Practice programmes at Christies Education by one further year. ASC has previously approved a one year extension to reflect the move to a six year validation period. However, due to the impact on staff at both Christies and the Academic Collaborations Office associated with a Partnership Review before the end of academic session 2013-2014, it is necessary to extend the validation by a further year. The Partnership Review will take place as planned.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to approve the proposal to extend the validation of the Christies programmes by one further year until end of academic session 2014-2015. A revalidation event will take place during academic session 2014-2015 with a view to validating the programmes for a further six years, effective September 2015.
