The paper sets out the University’s draft response to the QAA consultation on strengthening the quality assurance of UK transnational education. The consultation document is available at:

The draft was considered by the Internationalisation Steering Group at its meeting on 4 February, which supported the proposed response. Comments made at ISG have been incorporated in to the response.

The consultation will close on 10 March 2014. The Head of the Academic Collaborations Office will be attending a consultation briefing event in Glasgow on 22 February.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to note and to contribute to the draft response.
