The paper considers the question of the need for multiple programme specifications for groups of similar awards which was raised at the Semester 1 PAG for MVLS.

ASC is invited to consider whether the current guidance on producing multiple programme specifications requires revision to confirm that multiple documents should normally be expected in order to ensure that sufficient detail on the distinct features of the different programmes is clearly presented or, alternatively, whether there is a need to clarify the circumstances in which a single specification will be appropriate and when multiple specifications are required.
