Report of meeting held on 1 November 2012.

1. ASC is asked to approve ARSC’s proposals in relation to the following issues:

a) Penalties for late submission of sub-components of coursework marked in percentages

b) Late submissions that should be treated as non-submissions.

2. ASC is asked to consider ARSC’s proposal that the term ‘Exams only’ should be replaced by the term ‘Assessment only’.

3. ASC is asked to note ARSC’s views on ‘manifest prejudice’ where the course threshold grade has been achieved.

4. ASC is asked to note the membership (Appendix 1).

Senate Office will take forward the drafting of appropriate guidance and any other further action required arising from the proposals.
