The paper contains a summary of the under- and postgraduate annual monitoring reports from the College of Science & Engineering.

ASC is asked to consider the issues raised in the report.

The College of Science & Engineering would particularly like to highlight the following:

• Simplify the Annual Monitoring Report template into 4 sections
  • previous unresolved issues,
  • current problems within the school and beyond school,
  • good practice and
  • comments.
• Design the forms (Annual Monitoring Report, School Annual Monitoring Summary and College Annual Monitoring Summary) to improve linkages between them.
• Faster turn round time of Annual Monitoring Reports and earlier inclusion of CAMS in the ASC annual timetable
• Direct report of infrastructure issues to Estates and Buildings in April or May
• Visibility of disciplines within Engineering
• Note good practice highlighted such as additional feedback sessions, information provided to external examiners and podcasting of lectures.
