Brief description of the paper
At its meeting on 22 November 2010, ASC requested an update to Recommendation 3 of the Review of Mechanical Engineering. Recommendation 3 had sought promotion of two-way communication between leaders and staff through a review of the management and committee structure in the department. The update reported on the formation of a unified School of Engineering with a single Learning & Teaching Committee to take a strategic overview of teaching.
