Brief description of the paper

Report of meeting held on 30 March 2011.

Action Requested

1. Discretion in award of merit and distinction in PGT degrees

ASC is invited to consider for approval:

  • a proposal that the discretionary zones be narrowed (in line with changes already agreed in relation to Honours classification discretionary zones)

2. Interpretation of regulatory requirements for students with Accredited Prior Learning.

ASC is asked to approve a proposal that:

3. Regulatory changes to the Code of Assessment for introduction in 2011-12.

ASC is asked to approve proposed regulatory changes concerning:

  • Definition of components of assessment
