Brief description of the paper 

Proposed amended regulations for 2011-12 University Calendar reflecting proposals from ARSC accepted by ASC.

Action Requested 

ASC is invited to approve new and amended regulations concerning:

  • Joint Honours
  • Principal with Subsidiary Honours
  • Eligibility for reassessment on postgraduate certificate and diploma programmes

Further amendments to the regulations concerning reassessment will be brought to the April meeting of ASC.

Recommended Person/s responsible for taking action(s) forward 

Senate Office will take forward the incorporation of new and amended regulations into the University Calendar 2011-12.
