Brief description of the paper 

This paper presents a proposal from Nursing & Health Care to introduce a four-year integrated Masters degree in Nursing.

Action Requested 

ASC is requested to consider the proposal for approval in principle.

Recommended Person/s responsible for taking action(s) forward 

If approved in principle, this proposal will be taken forward by colleagues in Nursing & Health Care.

Resource implications 

College approval of the proposal will be required in the normal way.

Timescale for Implementation 

If approved in principle, the proposal would be submitted through normal approval mechanisms: relevant College Board of Studies and then ASC Programme Approval Group, and if approved would be introduced in 2011-12.
