Report of the DPTLA Review of the Dental School held on 25/26 March 2010. The report concludes with 11 recommendations.

Academic Standards Committee is invited to receive the report and approve the recommendations contained therein for onward transmission to those identified for action.

A direct resource implication has been identified in Recommendation 5, Funding Streams and this has been directed to the Vice Principal (Strategy and Resource). The outcome of other recommendations could also identify resource issues.

Responses to the recommendations will be provided to the May 2011 meeting for consideration by Academic Standards Committee.

The Review Panel considered the challenges faced by the School and was satisfied with the efforts made by it to ensure equality of access and opportunity.
