A report of the discussions of Academic Regulations Sub-Committee on regulatory issues referred by ASC.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to:

• Note the report of ARSC's consideration of the application of Regulation 1.9 and to consider whether any action is required.
• Agree the proposed regulation in relation to the counting of courses on Honours and PGT programmes.
• Note the Sub-Committee's consideration of provisions relating to the availability of second attempts at coursework.
• Agree the proposal for the retention of Schedule B in the Code of Assessment, as amended.
• Note the Sub-Committee's consideration of the provisions relating to claims of Good Cause and agree the proposal for clarification of the relevant regulations.  

The Senate Office will undertake necessary amendment to regulations in liaison with the Academic Regulations Sub-Committee.
