A report of the discussions of Academic Regulations Sub-Committee on the issue of proposed harmonisation of supplementary regulations.

Academic Standards Committee is asked to note further progress and, in particular, the proposals relating to:

• Minimum requirements for entry to Honours
• Progress within Honours
• Progress within integrated Masters programmes
• Weighting in the calculation of Honours classification

ASC is also asked to consider the case made by FBLS for a model for the calculation of Honours classification that departs significantly from the norm.  

The Senate Office will co-ordinate action with the Academic Regulations Sub-Committee.
