The attached Report is on the Validation Event for a Master of Theology in Scottish Church History and Scottish Theology, proposed by the Free Church of Scotland College, one of The University’s validated institutions. The validation event follows submission of the Statement of Intent for the Programme to Academic Standards Committee on 19 February 2010.

Academic Standards Committee are asked to approve the Programme for six years from 2010-11. Advisory recommendations are detailed in the Report, under section 2.

The Programme Staff of the Free Church of Scotland College will implement any recommendations and deliver the Programme from September 2010.

The University receives a fee for validations and a per capita fee for students on validated programmes.

The Programme will be delivered from September 2010.

The Free Church of Scotland College implements equality policies.
