Revalidation Report – Master of Design (Textiles as Fashion)

Brief description of the paper
In line with the University’s validation procedures, the Master of Design (Textiles as Fashion) was due to be considered for revalidation during session 2008-09.
A Report of the Revalidation event held on Thursday 18 March 2009 is attached.
Academic Standards Committee is requested to note the Report and, subject to the approval of Academic Council in June 2009, to approve the recommendation that the Master of Design (Textiles as Fashion) programme - [to be rebranded M Des Textiles and Fashion effective 2009-2010] - be revalidated as a degree of the University of Glasgow for a period of six years with effect from Session 2009-10 subject to the conditions (2) and recommendations (2) noted in paragraphs 2.0 and 3.0 being met.
