Stage Two Revalidation Report – Master of Architectural Studies (Taught)

Brief description of the paper

In line with the University’s validation procedures, the Master of Architectural Studies (Taught) programme [previously Masters of Architecture (Taught)] was due to be considered for revalidation during session 2007-08. A subsequent request from the Glasgow School of Art to extend the validation of the current programme during session 2008-2009 was approved by ASC on 30 May 2008.

A Report of the Stage Two Revalidation event is attached.

Action Requested

Academic Standards Committee is requested to note the Report and, subject to the approval of Academic Council in June 2009, to approve the recommendation that the Master of Architectural Studies (Taught) programme be revalidated as a degree of the University of Glasgow for a period of six years with effect from Session 2009-10 subject to the condition (1) and recommendations (3) noted in paragraphs 2.0 and 3.0 being met
