Brief description of the paper

This report highlights issues identified by the Faculty Quality Assurance and Enhancement Officers (FQAEO), both in their individual Faculty Annual Monitoring Reports and from their discussion of Faculty Annual Monitoring Reports. It also highlights areas where the FQAEO Group has been proactive in Session 2008-09, with a view to enhancing the Annual Monitoring process.

Academic Standards Committee (ASC) is requested to consider the report and its 6 appendices, to respond to actions directed to ASC and to direct recommendations to the relevant Officer or part of the University, where appropriate, for response by a specified date. [Please note that undergraduate examples are provided in Appendices 1-3; PGT equivalents also exist.]
